The Sister Islands of
Cayman Brac and Little Cayman
The Cayman Islands (Grand Cayman, Cayman Brac and
Little Cayman), a trio of three islands situated 150 miles south
of Cuba and 180 miles west of Jamaica, are world-renowned for the
magnificent coral reefs and awe-inspiring coral walls surrounding
them.
Grand Cayman is, by far, the most well known of the
three islands, but her sisters, Cayman Brac and Little Cayman, have
become world famous for their spectacular wall diving and the refined
sense of relaxed Caribbean life they offer.
Scuba Diving in the Sister Islands couldn't be easier. There is something for every level of diver - shallow reefs, breathtaking walls and even some incredible wrecks. In Little Cayman you
can enjoy diving in the Bloody Bay Marine Park and in Cayman Brac
spend a morning touring the Russian frigate MV Captain
Keith Tibbetts.
The islands offer lots of topside opportunities as well. If you like to fish then try the challenge of bonefishing in the flats or charter a boat for deep sea fishing off the walls. In Cayman Brac you can hike to one of the many caves that at one time provided shelter to the inhabitants during inclement weather. In Little Cayman, visit the Booby Pond Preserve to catch a glimpse of the Red Footed Booby and Magnificent Frigates.
Cayman Brac and Little Cayman are yours to discover - the members of the Sister Islands Tourism Association can help you enjoy every aspect of your vacation.
